Pandora headed to her first event of the season last weekend so she gives us a quick update on how it all went.
“I have been busy over the last few weeks, preparing for the beginning of the event season. On saturday it all kicked off and the ponies and I started at the first event of the season, at Moreton in Dorset.”
“It was a 5am start but the ponies didn’t seem to mind and they bombed around the dressage warm up, feeling a bit too fresh and excited to be out. This resulted in not the best mark of 34 for both ponies.”
“They then both popped round the showjumping easily, to go clear.”
“This was replicated on the cross country where they both made light work of a fairly dressed up ource in pretty boggy ground. The ground led to several time faults which pushed them both out the placings but I was thrilled to finish on double clears for my first event of the season.”
“Next stop is Oasby for the pony trial…Eeek”
