Joining the girls is Richard Nichol, our new Ambassador for 2016
“My names Richard Nichol I’m 32 from Ivegill, Cumbria and I’ve been riding since I was 3 and been addicted to horses forever!”
“I’ve competed in lots of different disciplines from Prince Philip cup to all pony club area teams, I’ve ridden in point to points and under rules with a little bit of success, hunter trials and ROR and I regular compete in BS and BE.”
“In 2013 I was lucky enough to win at HOYS in the working hunter section of Search For A Star on my own TINTIO A who was later sold to Florida. In 2014 I was a member of the winning team at the National BS Final at the Scope Festival riding Beryl and George Haslams Rhodanites Rowenberry. In 2015 I qualified for the Burghley Young Event Horse Final in the 4 year old section riding Tommy Cubbys Primitive Philander and this year my own 6 year old Mastermind XI, who is half owned by Richard Foster, is to compete at Badminton Grassroots which is very exciting and will be a childhood dream for me to go to Badminton.”
“I love competing lots of different horses and helping with the more difficult quirky ones which I feel has made me in to a more all round competitor! I am looking forward to the season ahead.”
