Richard Nichol – Four for four

Well we didn’t make HOYS this year but god loves a trier! Both horses jumped fab but it just wasn’t our time. Since the semi final it’s been business as normal and I’ve been away every weekend with all my horses and they’ve never let me down and I feel so privileged to have them.

Arland H qualified for the amateurs at Aintree in November so Cadillac will be happy having also qualified him already he can now take his best friend with him.

I managed to take my own team of four horses to a local team showjumping competition where three of them jumped a double clear taking me in to the lead and then to win, which was just fab. But I have to admit I was feeling the strain that day after having ridden all four of them, which was made more difficult as you probably couldn’t take four more different horses to ride!!
